Where Are You Little Green Man?

Shane Richards

This is an updated release, the original had a different cover and slightly different mixes...It took over a year to record and then 3 months to fix all the errors in the original release.

So here it is, phew! I'm kinda glad it's over, it was a hell of a ride.

A Little Piece Of Heaven

Shane Richards

My 3rd solo album (and 12th album overall), music recorded and mixed in my home studio in Bogota, vocals were recorded at The Hall Of Rock during the second half of 2019.

A big thankyou to José Peña for providing drums on the song "A Word I want To Say", and percussion on "A Little Piece Of Heaven"

JOSH (With Joana Mos)

Shane Richards / Joana Mos

This was a bunch of bedroom and closet recordings we made, mostly back in 2010-11, in Cali, Colombia.

I really enjoyed working with Joana because she is also eclectic, and prepared to do a variety of experimental or new stuff.

The album goes from Joana's contributions that in some tracks have a Garbage feel (Next Round), to Latin Rock (Hurry),

I really enjoyed working with Joana because she is also eclectic, and prepared to do a variety of experimental or new stuff.

The album goes from Joana's contributions that in some tracks have a Garbage feel (Next Round), to Latin Rock (Hurry), mixed with my usual Progressive/Classic Rock (Stuck On High) and 80s Pop (Nothing, Leaving On The Highway).

Inocente Criminal, which was done later across two continents, is an avant-garde Orchestral Piece with her Latin-Pop vocals.

The Australian mix of Nothing That I'm Needing gave me an opportunity to work once more with my old teenage mate and musical collaborator Mark "Sparky" Paltridge, who took an awful recording and turned it into something special. My version was less than ordinary by comparison. However, I ended up including one of my terrible versions here, as the idea of the duet and simple early 80s pop tune format was more what I imagined initially. I have to record this again one day.

There was more material, unfinished or tossed away, but unfortunately the original recordings from 2010 were stolen - which is a pity, as I'd really love to remix and remaster them.

The Black Cover cassette (1993)

Five To Five

Rescued from an old cassette from 1993, remastered in 2018.

This was probably Five To Five at our musical peak. Not all the songs from the album made it here, a couple of tracks are too damaged - 25 years is a long time in storage.

Now, there are some other great - arguably better - songs ("Slipping Away", "Take My Hand" and"Jennifer" come to
