When I was a teenager, I was right into the Melbourne punk and alternative scene. Initially, I was drawn to the local talent at the time - Depression, Vicious Circle, etc. However later on I began to appreciate the original punk bands - The Saints, Sex Pistols, The Damned, The Stranglers and The Clash. This track is a hommage to those bands, and the protest movement. I think it sounds rather like the Clash - Oi! Oi! Oi! Bovver Boy!
